The position of Lodge Baker holds a prestigious role as the purveyor of culinary delights. This skilled and imaginative member of our culinary team possesses baking and dessert-making abilities, coupled with boundless energy. They're adept at crafting the perfect muffin, ensuring excellence from top to bottom, and orchestrating the presentation of 50 captivating desserts by day's end. The title of Lodge Baker is not just a testament to sweetness, but also to strength.

Responsibilities Overview:

• Prepare baked items for breakfast and lunches daily. These may include frozen prepared croissants, cinnamon buns, muffins, scones, loafs, and cookies. Prepare lunch snacks for dietary needs.
• Bake parbaked bread for sandwiches and après when needed. Ensure the Garde Manger Chef has an adequate supply of bread for lunches.
• Prepare simple and delicious plated desserts as per the set menu for dinner service. Produce alternate choices for guests with special dietary needs as per the set menu.
• Assist kitchen staff in the execution of their tasks when needed. Assist the Garde Mange with the completion of the snowcat lunches in the morning.
• Ensure an accurate inventory of ingredients is kept. Prepare the food order for your section of responsibility and communicate the list of items to be ordered to the Head Chef.
• Work with the kitchen staff to expedite dinner service and complete the nightly cleaning and shut down of the kitchen as needed.

$$: The starting rate for this role is $270 per day, plus gratuities.
