A unique career at Baldface
Welcome to our career site
Baldface is one of the most renowned commercial cat operations in North America. With supporters as diverse as the Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Nate Bendel, the late Craig Kelly, Jamie Lynn, Travis Rice and John Buffery, Baldface has become the epicentre of all things good - remote timber lodges dwarfed by the jagged, almost fairytale peaks of the surrounding Kootenays; next-level cocktails and gourmet meals; an impossibly down-to-earth staff; and the exalted experience of riding the southeastern B.C. backcountry.
Working at Baldface means working in a fast-moving, adventurous company. It also means working with smart people that are passionate about their work.
We've disrupted and transformed the back-country lodge experience and continue to do so as we expand our operation into other locations. We want to work with the best. You think you got what it takes? Let us know. Join us!

What our team says
-
I've never had a better job, or worked for a better company. Most staff enjoy a week on week off rotation. This allows plenty of time to enjoy your personal life outside of work. It is a very fun environment to be in so co-workers are usually very happy to be at work. Lots of enthusiastic, like-minded people to surround yourself with. The company is constantly making upgrades to equipment, policies and safety standards. Management is very approachable and will always hear whatever it is you need to share. They truly care about their employees and it shows.

There is no other place like Baldface. We can't take credit for the beauty of these mountains that we play on, or the quality of the snow that we ride on, but we as a team do create the awesome experience that our guests have. I am very proud to be a part of the Baldface team. They are a great company to work for!

Workplace, Culture & Diversity
We strive to create a culture of warmth and authenticity in the alpine where the busyness of life is left behind and human connections become a priority. We are extremely proud of our staff here at Baldface and are committed to hiring and training the highest quality humans we can find. Not only are they good at their jobs, but they are good at life. Our guests come for the pow but often leave feeling as if they have become part of a cherished community. We love to witness the transformations unfold as we invite our guests to settle in, relax, be themselves, and just experience the welcoming vibes of the alpine.
Baldface is now working at creating opportunities for indigenous youth to develop and thrive in the outdoor recreation industry via employment and mentoring. It is our sincere belief that by recognizing the disparity of opportunity between cultures, we can create opportunities for meaningful inclusion in our company for all people from our area.
